Jiko Raha – both fuel-efficient biomass stoves featuring an innovative in built jacket that can be filled with 3 litters of water that enables the user to simultaneously boil water thus sanitizing it whilst cooking enabling households have safe drinking water free of disease causing micro-organisms. The stove through pilot studies was able to save a household USD 17.85 monthly with fuel reduction from USD 23.81 to only USD 5.96 monthly a 75% reduction in fuel costs and zero cost in water sanitization which has contributed to reduction of water borne diseases.
Currently, there is no other cook stove product in the market that we are serving that is a dual purpose stove which provides cooking and water disinfection through boiling. Water purifier’s that cost more than STAMP multitasking stoves and purify minimal amount of water per day.
Planned Goals and Milestones
Refining the production process to increase efficiency and product outlook , developing MEL process for monitoring usage on real time , marketing and business development processes.
